Mactoumi Super Fresh Dates

The Mactoumi is our third date from the oases of the Tuwaiq Mountains, next to the Fankha and the Wanan. This is also a very old, rare variety, whose mention can be found in ancient writings from the region. It is a rarity among date varieties and therefore very popular in the palaces of the Gulf region. Its name also has a pompous connotation, as Al-Mactoum is the name of the ruling family from Dubai.

The roundish, golden-brown date has a very pleasant taste. Its aroma is not too sweet, not too intrusive and particularly fruity. The Mactoumi is so small that one prefers to eat several of them at once.
