Date box organic - your sweet birth preparation
Date box - your sweet birth preparation
Together with Anja and Marie from hallohebamme we have put together this date box with fresh organic dates especially for birth preparation.
The date is a real super fruit and provides the body with many important minerals, vitamins and trace elements - also during pregnancy. Especially in the last 5 weeks before birth, a daily portion of 6 dates is said to have a positive effect on the birth - this has now been proven by several scientific studies. You can find more information on this topic in our blog post on the topic "Dates during pregnancy
What can you expect in the date box?
+ For a varied taste experience, we have filled the box with 10 different types of dates - these differ in both taste and consistency.
+ In the accompanying date box booklet, we've included lots of valuable information and helpful advice for the last few weeks of pregnancy, as well as delicious date-eating recipes and ideas.
+ With exclusive video content, Anja and Marie guide you through each week of pregnancy and give you some midwife tips and relaxation exercises.
Important information about date storage
We recommend that you store the date box in a cool place as soon as you receive it - preferably in the refrigerator. Why?
Some of the varieties we pack in the date box have a particularly soft, juicy flesh. These include the Wanan, Kholas, Mazafati and Khidri varieties, for example. Cool storage allows these dates to retain their fresh juiciness and also prevent them from going bad.
Also, those varieties that naturally have a slightly firmer flesh (such as Deglet Nour) or those dates that were harvested a little drier and therefore no longer have an overly juicy flesh (such as Ajwa and Rabbi dates) benefit from cold storage.
So keeping dates in a cool place is generally a good idea, as the fruit retains its delicate, sweet flavor much better.
If you have any questions about dates, please feel free to contact us at any time. Contact us best by email under service@narafood.de.
And so the date box is in time with you:
At the beginning of your 36th week of pregnancy, you can start eating your daily ration of dates from the date box. To ensure that the date box arrives on time, you should order at least 3 working days before the start of your 36th week of pregnancy.
Alternatively, you can also order the date box early and let us know in the comment field when you would like us to send the date box. The comment field appears at the end of the order process under the item "Check and order".
For example, if your 36th week of pregnancy starts on June 10, write "Please ship on June 6" in the comment field.
This way, the fresh dates will arrive on time and you can start eating dates right away.
