Mazafati organic dates: THE date for everyday life

Like all our Mazafati dates, these dates come from our permaculture plantation in Iran, where they are grown organically. Also known as the "praline" of dates, the Mazafati is an aromatic, sweet date variety with creamy, soft flesh. It is ideal for sweetening smoothies, serves as a natural sugar substitute in baking and also tastes great in savory dishes and fresh salads. But mazafati is also highly recommended for snacking on its own as a sweet treat between meals. In our opinion, it is therefore the perfect everyday date.

High-quality dates at an affordable price

Of course, these Mazafati dates are a natural product, which means that the consistency of the individual fruits can vary slightly from pack to pack. Although most of the dates are very soft and juicy, there may always be a few drier fruits. It is also possible that the dates may become sugary over time, i.e. form crunchy sugar crystals. However, this is also completely natural and nothing to worry about. All in all, the quality of these dates is impeccable - despite the low price, these are not second choice dates!

A few tips on storage

Mazafati organic dates can be stored in a cool place for up to two years after harvesting. The current batch is the fresh harvest of the season - provided the dates are stored at 2°C - 4°C. If you have space in your freezer, you can also freeze the fruit. This means they can be stored for months without any loss of quality and defrosted again when required.
